Sales and Service Cloud Team Lead

Remote, within Canada or at our office in Halifax, NS

Responsibilities

The Sales and Service Cloud Team Lead will lead a group of 4-6 of CloudKettle’s Salesforce CRM team members, as well as a small number of client projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Salesforce Practice Lead, Project Managers and the Executive team to ensure we prepare our employees for growth and successfully deliver perfect work to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a combination of Salesforce experience and a history of managing and mentoring Salesforce practitioners.

As a Salesforce Core Team Lead you will:

  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, retaining and developing a high performing team
  • Guide and suggest to team members best practices and approaches to solving complex Salesforce technical problems for clients
  • Be responsible for team results, remove barriers and ensure team members are set up for success in achieving or exceeding their annual performance and training goals
  • Conduct weekly one-on-ones, quarterly performance evaluations and annual reviews
  • Ensure that client communications (email, agendas, weekly calls) are of a high quality and frequent
  • Ensure documentation is accurate and delivered in a timely manner
  • Ensure team members maintain existing Salesforce certifications and are on plan for achieving their new ones
  • Coach employees on Salesforce best practices and provide answers to day to day technical questions on the platform and solutions
  • Assist team members in translating business requirements and processes into customized system functionality
  • Participate in client meetings to communicate status or give recommendations
  • Planning and scheduling ongoing team training
  • Providing mentoring and answer technical questions for junior team members
  • Providing oversight on some projects, including mentoring team members as they conduct development, testing, documentation, and design of Salesforce instances and Salesforce integrated solutions
  • Serve as project lead on large implementation projects
  • Maintain project delivery standards as set forth by Partners and the Executive team

Experience Requirements

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada and can show proof of citizenship or valid work visa
  • 3+ years of experience implementing and configuring the Sales and Service Cloud platform
  • 2+ years of experience managing direct reports
  • At least one Salesforce Consultant level certification (Sales Cloud or Service Cloud). Community Cloud, FSL and other Salesforce certifications are an asset
  • Experience customizing Salesforce using both declarative and coding methodologies., including, UI (Lightning Components, VisualForce), Apex (Triggers, Classes), Processes, Workflows and the Salesforce APIs
  • Experience creating documentation and data models for implementations and migrations
  • Successful candidates in this role will have experience in a senior consulting role and will have an aptitude for managing teams of consultants.
  • Experience in developing and documenting Salesforce processes and procedures
  • A Bachelor’s degree or college diploma
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A well-developed sense of humor
