Your Opportunity
BDO Digital is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Dynamics 365 Business Central consulting practice, with the ability to work from anywhere in Canada. The successful candidate will assist in the implementation of enterprise software for our client base. The Project Manager will manage project lifecycle implementations to a high level of quality and client satisfaction according to the BDO Project Governance framework. The Project Manager will use BDO’s implementation methodology, ensuring the delivery of a solution capable of achieving the agreed and defined business requirements and entered agreements in a profitable manner.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Provides project management leadership for full implementation, upgrade or major enhancement projects
- Ensures that BDO project governance framework is applied to projects
- Ensures that project governance documentation is maintained, published and stored according to BDO Quality Audit standards
- Ensures that the BDO Project Team follows BDO Implementation Methodology and is producing deliverables to standards and on schedule
- Create and execute a project plan.
- Reviews Key Deliverables to assure scope and budget remain aligned
- Reviews and understands the contractual terms and scope of assigned projects
- Acts as client advocate
- Perform risk management activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and diverse teams.
- Monitor and ensure proper staffing for projects, participating in resource planning with other Project Managers.
- Monitor and control project performance.
- Provides input to BDO PMO for ongoing refinement of BDO Project Governance, Implementation Methodology, contracts and templates
- Training of client staff to perform day-to-day activities in support of ERP implementation.
- Mentoring colleagues and providing support and guidance.

Your experience and education
- Minimum of 3 years project management experience
- Previous ERP project experience is a definite asset, including the management of budget, risks, resources, scope, issues, changes and quality
- Post-secondary education in a relevant business discipline (B.Comm.,CPA, APICS, PMP, etc.) preferred
- PMP designation desirable
- Knowledge of ERP systems as they relate to effective and efficient business processes is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, F&O, GP and/or CE would be considered an asset
- Thorough knowledge of all major project management activities
- Experience with MS Project
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Ability to align project deliverables and customer expectations
- Coaching and/or mentoring experience
- Exceptional presentation skills for internal/external purposes
- Ability to thrive in a virtual, collaborative organization and atmosphere
- Effective time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to listen and effectively communicate orally and in writing with clients and colleagues
