Project Manager

Position Description:
This role entails managing the delivery of Finance IT teams, running concurrent projects and work streams utilizing shared resources. In addition tracking financials with respect to resource, vendor and license costs against all deliverables.

What will you do?
Perform all standard project management functions including financial planning and control, task decomposition and execution, proactive risk and issue management, coordination with many business/IT groups including QTS and CNB.
Data Management Capability stream.
Adopt Agile methodologies and use them as a mechanism to improve the quality of deliverables, reduce project duration and mitigate risk
Must be proficient with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel and Powerpoint
Develop monitor and execute project plans and coordinate timely execution of major milestones, approvals, sign-offs and implementation.
Coordinate release of deliverables to users
Aggressively manage priorities and issues where conflicts arise; mediate and resolve project team conflicts
Regularly report progress of project status, milestones, achievements and budgetary standing in both formal (e.g. Executive Steering Committee) and informal settings
Communicate effectively with developers, database administrators, network analysts, systems analysts, senior management, project sponsors and business users In conjunction with business partners, develop and present project business cases to the appropriate approval committee
Provide regular risk assessments and work with Operational Risk team on mitigation strategies and monitoring Administer project modification/change control; obtain estimates of duration and price for changes to be approved by the steering committee responsible for the project
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have Experience in managing delivery of application development projects of medium complexity.
Experience in running Agile projects
5+ years of relevant project management experience, with at least 3 years success in managing IT projects.
Proven people management skills Strong collaboration skills to help uncover stakeholder needs Bachelor’s Degree in Business, MIS/IT, or a related field
PMP or Scrum Master Certifications
Able to manage ETL, data feature generation, model building, and upstream dependencies”
