Your Opportunity
Working as a Jr. Support Engineer Intern you will be a part of the Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for our internal IT System, including trouble shootings, administration, asset inventory, and networks.

Responsibilities
Assisting with frontline support for all internal needs, such as laptop and device troubleshooting, resolution of technical issues, etc.
Setting up new staff laptops, accounts, software, etc.;
Investigate and action Jira tickets regarding internal company devices, such as staff laptops, QA devices and equipment, etc.;
Assist with the ongoing maintenance and support of our Technology Asset Inventory with real-time updates;
Assist with providing initial support for internal telephone and local network/internet support;
Assisting with departmental documentation around inventories, operating procedures and policies;
Additional assistance with office administration, as required;

Technical Competencies /Skills
Working towards post-secondary or community college in System Administration, Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
Working knowledge of Office Applications, such as Google Suite, etc.
Previous experience with ticket systems considered an asset;
Basic networking skills, including routers, printers, access points, etc.;
Knowledge of Mac and Windows Laptops to provide basic user support;.
