We’re hiring solution-minded people excited to help us grow into the future. We are currently looking to fill the position of Intermediate Business Systems Analyst- Modern Workplace Technologies.
Under the direction of the Digital Services Support Lead, the Intermediate Business Systems Analyst – Modern Workplace Technologies will be responsible for providing responsive and predictable delivery of IT services to internal customers leveraging an array of software and hardware technologies. The successful candidate will also be responsible to maintain and manage technology assets including software, hardware and cloud services. He/she/they will participate as required on Modern Workplace technology projects and work closely with the broader IT teams to deliver exceptional technical support and customer service across Nova Scotia Power and Emera Canadian Affiliated Companies. To be successful, this role is required to work on-site at Nova Scotia Power headquarter in Halifax. There will be some province-wide travel required at times.
Skills, Capabilities and Experience
The successful candidate will have a University degree or diploma in a computer related discipline and between two and five plus (2-5+) years’ experience in client facing technical support roles. An understanding and experience utilizing best practice information technology incident and request management processes is required.
The successful candidate will be a technology advocate, comfortable with supporting and promoting the use of technologies from a variety of vendors including Microsoft and Cisco.
To be considered for this role the candidate will need to exhibit a strong desire to learn, be customer focused, self-motivated and have exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
As the ideal candidate you have 2-3 years of experience with the following technologies:
- Office 365 suite including Teams, Office and Exchange
- Cisco collaboration technologies including Call Manager and Webex video conferencing
- End user computing and mobile technologies
- Virtual desktop technologies
- SCCM, Microsoft Endpoint Manager
