We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Network Architecture to join our IT department. You will be responsible for the security and connectivity of the SaltWire Network and affiliated companies’ network architecture (LAN / WAN), for new technology site implementation, leading, planning, and execution to develop network integration.

Core Responsibilities
– Design and deploy functional Network and Server Architecture, on-premise, including virtual and cloud hosted environments
– Configure and install firewalls, software, servers, routers and other network devices
– Monitor network performance and integrity
– Implement, maintain and monitor a high level of network security in compliance with current and future requirements related to our business environment (e.g. PCI, PIPEDA)
– Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)
– Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure
– Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
– Mentor team members on technical issues
– Maintain complete technical documentation
– Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability
– Participates with implementation delivery teams to develop a solution proposal that includes scope, assumptions, implementation plan, and technology solution options to meet infrastructure project short-term and long-term goals
– Provides specialized systems support (e.g. user account administration, information/data security, training, error analysis and solution development, user support)

– Computer Science Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience, 10 years related experience.
