Position Overview:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a pivotal member of our sales team; responsible for generating and qualifying leads to support the growth of our customer base. The BDR plays a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, initiating contact with new customer signups, through onboarding, and contributing to our overall sales success.

Key Responsibilities:

· Evaluating and qualifying leads in determining their level of interest and readiness for engagement with the sales team.

· Collect and maintain accurate lead information within the CRM system.

· Schedule appointments or meetings for Account Executives (AEs) with high revenue & qualified leads.

· Ensure seamless handover of leads to the AEs, providing them with well-qualified prospects.

· Develop and maintain relationships with entry-level clients, understanding their needs and providing relevant information.

· Nurture entry-level clients to keep them engaged and interested in our products or services.

· Collaborate closely with Account Executives and other sales team members to align strategies and ensure effective lead handovers.

· Share information and best practices to enhance the overall sales process.

· Work closely with customer support to facilitate seamless onboarding and setup for clients.

· Approach all lead interactions with a customer-centric attitude, providing value and addressing customer inquiries.


· Community-minded individual, energized by helping non-profit organizations achieve their fundraising goals

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team

· Adaptable and willing to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment

· Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills

· 1-2 years of sales experience as a business development representative or similar roles

· Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, sales, or equivalent is considered an asset

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience with CRM systems, ideally Hubspot

· Proficiency in MS Office
