Billing Coordinator

MOBIA is currently recruiting a Billing Coordinator to join our team in Dartmouth, NS.  With a passion for project coordination, technology, and customer service you will be an integral part of a customer focused team with great attention to detail and respect for a job well done

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with month-end, including preparation/posting of journal vouchers and journal entries
  • Processing of accounts receivable invoicing
  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues as needed
  • Reconciling and posting of incoming payments (matching payments to accounts receivables)
  • Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or incoming payment discrepancies
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance team
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Other duties as assigned

 Skills / Qualifications:

  • Completion of relevant post-secondary education with a focus in Accounting or Finance is considered an asset
  • 1-3 years of previous accounts receivable experience
  • Previous experience with SAP Business One is considered an asset
  • Excellent data entry skills with high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to problem solve and attention to detail is required
  • Conceptual understanding of project expense and revenue allocations
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective verbal, listening and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
