Position Description:

Required Qualification:

  • 3+ years of Azure administration experience
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator would be preferred
  • Deep technical Azure platform.
  • Technical Understanding of
  • Azure Site Recovery
  • Express Route
  • Azure VPN gateways
  • Azure Backup
  • Azure Network security.
  • Virtualization
  • Role based access control (RBAC)
  • Disaster Recovery
  • Azure Cost Management
  • Experience with all types of IT projects including migrating on-prem infrastructure to Azure Environments (including IaaS and PaaS) and the associated storage, network and security considerations.
  • Experience in DBA Role.
  • Proficiency with scripting protocols such as PowerShell , Azure CLI’s, ARM templates.
  • Preferred basic understanding of Big Data Technologies like
  • Azure Databricks
  • ADLS Gen2
  • Azure Data factory
  • Azure Synapse
  • Preferred understanding of Other Technologies like :
  • Azure Key Vault
  • Replication Technologies (Qlik Replicate)
  • BI Tools like
    • PowerBI
    • MicroStrategy
    • Tableau

Job Description :

  • Implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to compute, storage, network, and security
  • Administering Azure Resources
  • Managing Azure subscription
  • Working with Azure Security (RBAC)
  • Creating custom scripts to automate support processes where applicable.
  • Providing the ability to power off/ down the un-used VMs
  • Providing the ability to identify issues at Azure level and resolve.
  • Working with Azure Cost Management
  • Proactively monitoring & optimizing azure usage
  • Configuring services on Azure for High Availability Disaster Recovery
  • Creating SOP(Standard Operating Procedure) manuals
  • Training DBA teams

Required Level of Education (include certifications):

  • University or Technical Diploma in IT discipline with equivalent experience
