  •  Work with a team of restructuring professionals including chartered insolvency and restructuring professionals, corporate finance experts, chartered business valuators, chartered professional accountants and other professional advisers who are committed to and understand entrepreneurial people and organizations
  •  Work collaboratively with other external service providers including lawyers, bankers, appraisers, auctioneers, property managers, and other vendors,

As an Administrative Manager your responsibilities will include:

  •  Assistance with the preparation of valuations of assets and business interests for a wide range of purposes, such as: sales processes, refinancing, settlement, operational restructuring, financial restructuring, etc.
  •  Assistance in the preparation of confidential information memorandums and other transaction related documentation including buyers lists, confidentiality agreements and compiling and managing electronic data rooms
  •  Responsibility to manage the estate documentation and filing process
  •  Responsibility to manage the trust accounting process including the collecting and managing estate accounts payable, processing payments and recording payments into Ascend, communicating with vendors, collection and processing of deposits, and reporting on the same
  •  Responsibility for the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and the Annual Banking Report
  •  Responsibility to prepare and manage loan and advance process (internally and externally)
  •  Support and assistance with various projects including the collection and integration of research information
  •  Assist with the preparation of invoicing and the collection of those accounts receivable
  •  Support and assistance as part of a team assisting clients with aspects of supporting the formal and informal restructuring and liquidation processes
  •  Liaise with lenders, creditors, debtors, lawyers and other professionals
  •  Liaise with banks as part of managing the various trust accounts
  •  Assist with identifying issues and recommending solutions
  •  Participation in various business development initiatives (internal and external) including research in support of pitches, proposals and new client prospects as well as attendance at various business development events.

Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Senior Associate, Business Risk Services [IT]? Like the colour purple? Great. Here’s a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:

  •  Post-secondary education in a business-related field (degree, diploma or certificate)
  •  Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure with various teams and a variable work load
  •  Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to analyze and manipulate large volumes of data to gain key insights.
  •  Previous experience with Star PDM or other business management software an asset, but not required
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  •  Strong online research and database skills
  •  Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •  A client-focused approach to work
  •  Ability to generate creative solutions to abstract or undefined problems
  •  Prior exposure to property management, banking, and project management considered an asset, but not required
  •  Demonstrated interest all aspects of business and the Canadian business landscape
  •  Strong communication skills
  •  Strong sense of teamwork
