VERB is looking for an Account Manager who will be responsible for managing the customer relationship, providing strategic direction and planning across a variety of clients. They will act as the main point of contact for the client within the organization, working closely with internal project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, following the agreed upon strategy and of the highest level of quality.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee small-scale website builds and digital campaigns from inception to launch, collaborating with team members across all VERB departments to ensure the successful completion of projects
  • Day-to-day management of client business through strategic planning and daily execution of project tasks
  • Effectively manage budgets and resources, following predetermined budgets for projects and consistently assessing departmental resources to ensure staffing requirements are met, making adjustments when necessary
  • Undertake responsibility for the organic growth of a portfolio of accounts, providing exceptional service and continually striving to promote cutting-edge and innovative solutions
  • Uncover and articulate research, insight, and strategic models to help advance the business interests of clients
  • Effectively manage and build strong relationships with clients and have the ability to navigate up the client organization
  • Be bold and confident in all communication while displaying excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Work with agency senior account management to ensure that issues affecting client services and creative projects are communicated and resolved
  • Keep lines of communication open so that all team members across the agency feel free to talk to you about any situation or challenge
  • Own the final quality control for all client-facing deliverables
  • Identify process improvements within organization and work with senior management to develop and implement improvements across projects


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing/ advertising industry
  • Post-secondary education with a focus on advertising, marketing, communications, or business
  • Ability to see through process and clearly understand and articulate the vision for active accounts
  • Highly organized and ability to function in a fast-paced business environment
  • Demonstrated ability to create and present reviews to both clients and internal management
  • Confident thinker and open to ideas of others
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Highly meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Experience across a range of digital media
  • Clear understanding of website analytics
  • Working understanding of SEO, SEM, social, and traditional media
