Account Manager
Our agency is growing, and we’re looking for a talented marketer to join our Client Services team in the role of Account Manager. We are seeking natural relationship-builders who are detail-oriented and organized and can prioritize time and effort across many projects and moving pieces. This role is vital to the integration with the other departments in the agency.
In this role, you will be a key day-to-day support to our clients’ brands’ marketing communications needs, from initial campaign strategy development to creative development and finally media deployment and measurement, leveraging the skills and talents of our internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Build trusting relationships with clients
- Act as client contact on daily management of projects and executional details
- Develop internal briefing documents for specified projects
- Manage day-to-day project execution through all agency departments
- Meet all client requests in a timely & service-oriented manner
- Review all creative/production material at every stage
- Ensure client projects are completed on time and within budget, with regular and pre-emptive check-ins as part of your process
- Responsible for contact/call reports, status reports, budget management, and any other client administrative support as required
- Manage estimates/budgets from preparation to client approval with guidance from senior account leads
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an agency environment
- Excellent relationship building and written/communication skills
- You have a natural curiosity and are a proven learner and contributor—you take ownership of your work and like to bring fresh thinking to the table
- Experience in managing campaign budgets (you know your way around a spreadsheet)
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
- You are coachable and able to manage upwards to ensure the seamless flow of communication between teams
- An undergraduate degree or diploma in a related field (marketing, public relations, communications) is advantageous
