Digital Nova Scotia is pleased to announce that it is hosting its Tech Lounge in conjunction with the High Performance Computing Symposium on June 26th, 2014. Industry stakeholders and students are encouraged to attend and participate in this informal networking and career connection session. Opening remarks from Digital Nova Scotia and its partners will begin at 3:30 p.m. Enjoy light refreshments and connect with your digital community!

Please note that this session is open to both HPCS participants and the region’s digital community. HPCS registration is not required to attend this event.

HPCS is a multi-disciplinary conference, considered Canada’s premier advanced computing forum. Each year, Canadian researchers, analysts, and IT professionals from academia and industry gather to exchange the ideas, tools, and new discoveries that are driving today’s innovations in computational research. This year’s program is built around the theme of HPC Serving Society and includes sessions focusing on Bioinformatics, Big Data & Analytics, Computational Materials Science, Ocean & Atmosphere Modelling, Computational Chemistry, Data Cave Visualization, and more.
