GDC is the world’s largest professional game industry event. Join game designers, programmers, artists, producers, and business professionals for 5 days of unparalleled education, inspiration and networking for the global game development community.
Here is a quick update about the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) program at GDC.
Dates
GDC runs the entire week of March 19 but the main conference is from Wed-Fri (March 21-23). The Canada program will be from March 21-23, 2018.
Canada Pavilion at GDC Play
TCS has partnered with British Columbia Ministry of International Trade, Government of Quebec, and Ontario Media and Development Corporation (OMDC) on a joint presence at GDC Play which will include booth space and private meeting rooms for B2B meetings.
B2B Platform
There will be an online platform where Canadian companies and international buyers can view profiles, request meetings, and schedule meetings at the Canada meeting rooms. Stay tuned for more details.
Expo Pass
TCS has free GDC Expo Passes ($149) which will be given to the first 50 companies that register on their B2B platform (1 pass per company). Stay tuned for details on the B2B platform and how to register.
Demo Booth
There will be a demo booth where companies can sign up for 1-hr slots to show their games.
