This Pitch Competition is for Volta Residents, Network Members and anyone from the tech community at large in Atlantic Canada.
This Pitch Competition, powered by Cox & Palmer, is an excellent opportunity to practice your pitch, fine-tune your deck, and get feedback from peers and industry professionals. You will also gain valuable experience presenting to investors, potential early adopters and a room full of people (you never know who may be sitting in the audience!)
Each competition will have a judging panel, comprised of entrepreneurs, potential investors and community leaders. Judging will be based on the pitch, not the business, and will focus on the presentation quality and content.
Patrick Fitzgerald, Partner at Cox & Palmer
Jane Crowell, Senior Director Strategy and Planning, 7 Communications
Ian Whytock, Manager of Strategic Initiatives at Barrington Edge
The winning Pitch will receive:
1) $500 Visa Gift Card
2) Name engraved on Volta’s “I’ve got 99 problems but my pitch ain’t one” trophy
3) A photo on the “Pitch Wall of Fame” board
4) Cox & Palmer swag bag
Lunch and refreshments will be served!
