About SCWIST The Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology (SCWIST) is a national organization dedicated to advancing equity, inclusion, and opportunity for women, gender-diverse individuals, and underrepresented groups in STEM through research-informed programming, mentorship, community engagement, and advocacy. For over four decades, SCWIST has worked to address systemic barriers in representation and workforce participation across Canada’s innovation sectors — supporting talent from early education through to mid- and senior-level careers.
