COVE’s free Offshore Wind 4 Kids event lets families explore renewable energy as kids build and test mini turbines on the water. Back by popular demand, COVE, in collaboration with the non-profit OffshoreWind4Kids and sponsored by the RBC Foundation and the NS Department of Energy, presents a hands-on educational event about offshore wind. Offshore Wind 4 Kids is a free-of-charge interactive event for families to learn about offshore wind and renewable energy. Kids will get to build mini turbines and test them on the water, enhancing their engineering and teamwork skills. Families can register for one (1) ticket per family for the one-hour session running from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to explore the world of renewable energy and inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators!
