NLS: CISSP Training for Cybersecurity Professionals

Often referred to as the "gold standard," the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is the most globally recognized certification in the information security sector.

Participants will gain knowledge in information security that will increase their ability to successfully implement and manage cybersecurity programs in any organization or government entity. The goal of this content is to provide them with the core knowledge necessary to be a successful cybersecurity professional. This training course will help them review and refresh their information security knowledge in pursuit of the CISSP exam. ISC2, which administers CISSP certification, created the Body of Knowledge (CBK), which holds nearly all the information a seasoned cybersecurity professional should know. The CBK lists eight primary domains, including asset security and software development security. With a combination of asynchronous learning material and structure accessed through the University of Waterloo and live learning sessions through Cyber Reflect, participants will gain 180 days of access to official CISSP material and take part in a 10-week, 30-hour live training curriculum that will prep professionals for their CISSP certification.
