Her keynote will focus on AI leadership and how the digital transformation can coexist with ethical data sharing and analytics in business\, education\, transportation\, banking\, mobile\, retail\, and social gaming. \nThe panel discussion “Data Analytics as Climate Action” will focus the conversation on the potential for big data and AI to advance an organization’s climate action goals. Panelists from the agriculture\, transportation and energy sectors will participate. Workshops develop skills in areas like design\, coding\, game development\, and much more. \nHoist sessions take place one Saturday a month (with the exception of July\, August and December) and are targeted for teens ages 12 to 19. \nTopics change each month and are based on current trends\, as well as the needs and interests of Hoist participants. This helps make each session unique and fun for the participants. \nNovember’s Topic: Design Thinking \nDuring this fun and interactive session we will work together and go through the design thinking process. He received an honors Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto where he specialized in Political Science and Canadian Studies. Jake began his career in the federal public service as an Immigration Officer\, and also worked with Indigenous communities during an assignment with Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada\, before joining the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
