SUMMARY:Cape Breton - Startup Smarter Bootcamp
DESCRIPTION:Come with your idea. Leave with a plan.\n\n\n\nStarting a business isn’t about luck\, passion\, or grinding harder. It’s about solving a real problem – for real people – in a way that actually matters. \nIf you’ve got an idea but no clear starting point\, this 1.5-day bootcamp is for you. It’s built for early-stage founders\, side-hustlers\, and soon-to-be entrepreneurs who want to do things right\, from day one. \nHere’s what you’ll walk away with: \n\nWhy more than 70% of startups fail in their first year – and how to avoid becoming one of them\n\n\nThe essential mindset shifts serious entrepreneurs make (and how to train yours)\n\n\nHow to use the Business Model Canvas properly – not like a business school assignment\n\n\nA way to test whether your idea solves a real problem (or just sounds good in your head)\n\n\nHow to avoid the product-first trap and anchor your business in real customer pain\n\nThis isn’t a pep talk. It’s a small group (max 8)\, no-nonsense\, hands-on working session grounded in experience with over 200 startups. Expect honest feedback\, strategic thinking\, and moments of uncomfortable clarity – the kind that moves your idea forward. \nYou’ll leave with a mental roadmap of what to do next – and why. No more guesswork. Just the best possible start to your entrepreneurial journey. \nStudents may qualify for a discounted rate\, please reach out to Kennedy (kwry@ceed.ca) for more details and a promo code \nBy purchasing this ticket\, you acknowledge and agree that photos and videos may be taken during CEED’s StartUp Smarter Bootcamp and used for promotional purposes\, including on social media and in future marketing materials. By attending\, you consent to the use of these images in future promotional materials and on social media. You also agree to abide by all event terms and conditions\, including venue policies and safety protocols.
