Join us as we celebrate a year of incredible energy, growth and momentum in the tech sector. techNL is hosting it’s Annual General Meeting on Thursday, May 26th from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Emera Innovation Exchange. We will be showcasing highlights from the fiscal year January 01 2021 – December 31, 2021. Voting is being done entirely online and ahead of time. 3:00 – 3:30 – Open to Members ONLY 3:30 – 4:00 – Highlights from 2021, Stakeholders welcome to join 4:00 – 5:00 – Meet our new CEO Florian Villaumé + Networking Social with light hors d’oeuvres to close out the afternoon. Open Dialogue Live: The Space Race of the 21st Century

We’re entering a new wave of the space race. Join us for a conversation with our special guests: Canadian Space Agency’s Tony Pellerin, Manager, Mechanical Engineering and Technical lead for the Canadian Cubesat Project and Dalhousie alum, Arad Gharagozli (MASc‘22), who launched GALAXIA, a space hardware and software company. The conversation will discuss satellites and nano satellites, the science and research behind them, and the societal impacts of the space race of the 21st century. This event will be presented in person in the McInnes Room, as well as livestreamed via Dalhousie Alumni and Friends Facebook Live and Dalhousie YouTube.
