SUMMARY:Marketing at a Distance with the Rangefinder from Kelford Inc
DESCRIPTION:Have you asked\, with increasing frustration\, “But where should I focus my marketing?” Or even more specifically\, “Where do I post?! Facebook? TikTok? LinkedIn? Threads?!” There’s no single satisfying answer that works every time for everyone (hence the frustration you may be feeling). But there is a single\, satisfying process you can follow to find the right answer for your business. \nIn this workshop we’ll take you through Kelford Inc.’s Marketing Rangefinder process\, so you can get that answer. \nUsing our framework we’ll explore the four distances—Far\, Close\, Here\, and Connected—at which all potential customers can be found. We’ll work through how to identify\, at each distance\, what they need\, what you should say to them next\, and how to know if it’s working before you overinvest or run out of patience. Find your best customers and know exactly what to say to them to bring them closer to you\, closer to a purchase\, and closer to your brand. \n3 Key Takeaways  \n\nA framework to help you understand where your best customers are\nA process for knowing what to say\, and when\, to reach them\nA tool for creating marketing messages that bring customers closer to your business\n\nMeet your presenter.. \nLeah is an endlessly-energetic motivator who sets the pace\, keeps her clients (and everyone around her) on track and having fun\, and ensures that no one gets left behind or loses hope—because when the finish line is far\, sustainable pace is the only way to get there. Shiny is a web application framework for R and Python\, and has two special features. First\, Shiny uses a reactive computation graph to only render the parts of the UI which need to change in response to a user’s actions\, and second it infers that graph from your application. While you tell Shiny what to do\, you don’t tell it when to do it. This talk explains Shiny’s one weird trick to always infer the correct computation graph.\n\n7:30 pm – Socialize! \nSpend some time socializing with the speakers and others in the community.
