Annual General Meeting Featuring: ‘Disrupt the Dialogue on Diversity Panel’

Join the TECHNATION’s National Board of Directors on June 23 for the Annual General Meeting (AGM), where we will discuss the ongoing success on behalf of our members. Following the AGM will be a dynamic roundtable discussion with experienced C-suite level female leaders. Grab a beverage of your choice and get updated on current TECHNATION activities from National Board Chair Kevin Peesker, President, Microsoft Canada, including financials, the appointment of new directors, and an overview of the year from Angela Mondou, President & CEO of TECHNATION. After the formal portion of the AGM, we move directly into a panel presentation of female CEOs on diversity disruption. Growth in diverse representation on boards and in C-suites at technology companies has increased worldwide in the past ten years. However, there is still a long way to go in Canada. There are sweeping disparities between men and women in representation at the highest levels and in pay, and the Canadian technology industry is no exception REGISTER

Halihax September Hybrid Meetup

Join us in person or virtually to catch up with the community, and hear members tell stories of the last time they broke something. It's been a long time since we've been able to connect with the community in person, and following the start of phase 5, we would like to plan a fun, informal event to catch up with the community and ease back into in-person meetups. We recognize that not all of our members are located in Halifax, and also that people may prefer to attend the event virtually. To accommodate this, we will be hosting a live stream of the talks via Zoom so everyone can still participate. This event will be hosted at the Wooden Monkey in Dartmouth with pizza and refreshments provided by Halihax, and our sponsors. REGISTER
