CWB: Coffee Talk

Join the Centre for Women in Business online! Coffee Talk is designed to connect women in business across Nova Scotia with each other, encourage collaborations and improve business skills through sharing. Each session will include a welcome, introductions, and a facilitated discussion on recent news or trends in business. When: Thursdays from 9-10am Where: Online – A computer with reliable, high-speed internet connection and a headset with a microphone are required. Cost: Complimentary! Tech Wednesday with NPower Canada

Our no-cost skills training and job placement program equips you for roles like Help Desk Agent, Data Analyst, QA/Tester and other in-demand jobs requiring digital skills. Online Monthly Networking Event: Immigrant Women Entrepreneur Network (IWEN)

The Immigrant Women Entrepreneur Network (IWEN) welcomes all immigrant women who are also entrepreneurs, from beginners to experienced business owners. This network aims to give immigrant women who are also entrepreneurs the opportunity to promote and grow their businesses, as well as strengthen their networks. Halihax September Hybrid Meetup

Join us in person or virtually to catch up with the community, and hear members tell stories of the last time they broke something. It's been a long time since we've been able to connect with the community in person, and following the start of phase 5, we would like to plan a fun, informal event to catch up with the community and ease back into in-person meetups. We recognize that not all of our members are located in Halifax, and also that people may prefer to attend the event virtually. To accommodate this, we will be hosting a live stream of the talks via Zoom so everyone can still participate. Atlantic Food Automation Series – Seafood & Aquaculture Workshop

About this event On October 6th and 7th, IGNITE will host the first Atlantic Food Automation Workshop event to learn more about the Seafood & Aquaculture industry. Throughout Fall 2021, IGNITE will host the Atlantic Food Automation Program across the pan-atlantic provinces. Each of these workshops will focus on a different food industry, highlighting the automation and digital advancements that are available in Atlantic Canada.
