AI After Hours is the AI Collective's flagship gathering for Halifax's builders, thinkers, doers, and AI-curious.
AI shows up in your 9-to-5, and in your 5-to-9, too. We meet after hours to make space for what we're building, thinking, doing, and wondering about when it comes to AI.
Tonight is a building demo night. We're doing it again.
Our first demo night was part of Humans in AI Week, the largest coordinated civilian conversation about AI ever organized. We're excited to spotlight what our community is building, tinkering with, and shipping.
Here's how it works.
Three to five Haligonians get a few minutes each to show what they built. Show the thing, tell us who it helps, then make one clear ask of the room. Testers, first users, honest feedback, an intro to someone who can help. The room is usually full of people who can give you at least one of those.
🗣️ Who's in the room:
- Builders: founders, developers, data people, and researchers making things with AI
- Thinkers: writers, teachers, policy folks, journalists, and community leaders asking what AI means for the rest of us
Doers: people in marketing, business, administration, and project management using AI in their work
The curious: students, people changing careers, and anyone who wants to understand where AI fits in their life
🚀 Want to show something?
We're picking three to five builders.
If you've made something with AI and you want people using it, tell us about it. Applications close October 26 [ Apply Here]
