About the Opening Doors Project:
This event also celebrates the completion of the Opening Doors Project. Opening Doors was the first of its kind project here in Nova Scotia and we’re beyond proud of its success.
We know that teachers are passionate about preparing students for their best future and providing them with as many resources and options as possible – and we’d like to help.
The Opening Doors Project has been designed to build capacity, comfort, and resources for high school teachers when talking about tech and the careers available in this exciting, fast-paced, growing sector. In celebration of the project, we are inviting educators to join us for an evening of stories, conversation, and connections as we open the doors between the tech industry and education.
This initiative is in partnership with Digital Nova Scotia, Salesforce.org, the Discovery Centre, HRCE, AVRCE and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
