TORONTO, Ontario, Canada — July 16th, 2018- T4G Limited is proud to announce that our team has won both the 2018 Microsoft Canada Data & AI Innovation and the Industry Innovation for Commercial: Manufacturing, Retail, or Financial Services awards. These annual awards recognize Microsoft partners who demonstrate excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology. Microsoft prides on having the largest partner ecosystem in the industry, with over 14,000 partners across Canada. Each of these partners play an integral role in unlocking new opportunities for Canadian companies and Microsoft is committed to helping their partner ecosystem build profitable businesses and successfully take their solutions to market.
Microsoft Canada presented these awards in 16 categories on July 16, 2018 at the Microsoft Inspire conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. Winners were selected based on the outstanding work the companies provided to their customers and community.
“This year’s IMPACT award winners represent the best and most forward-thinking innovators coming out of our partner community in Canada,” said Charlotte Burke, Vice President, One Commercial Partner, Microsoft Canada. “Microsoft’s partner ecosystem plays a fundamental role in driving Canada’s innovation agenda forward, and ultimately strengthening our position as a globally competitive and prosperous country. We congratulate all of the winners on this amazing achievement and their continued dedication to bringing cutting-edge solutions to complex business challenges and providing digital transformation opportunities for our shared customers.”
“We are thrilled to be recognized as among the best in the Microsoft partner community,” says Geoff Flood, President of T4G Limited. “Our relationship with Microsoft goes back two decades, and the excellence that our people bring to our customers by using Microsoft technology has always been something that brought us immense pride.  Having this validated by Microsoft themselves is quite the honour.”
Each of T4G’s winning submissions leveraged machine learning and artificial intelligence to derive new customer value.  For the Data and AI Innovation award, it was about using machine learning and predictive modelling to dramatically improve load forecasting for wind turbine power generation farms. For the Industry Innovation for Commercial category submission, T4G worked with Canadian start-up, HomeEXCEPT (http://www.homeexcept.com), to incorporate machine learning into a high-fidelity, non-intrusive monitor that supports an aging population that wishes to age-in-place in their own home.
