Unacceptable Behavior
- Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
- Offensive comments or actions related to personal characteristics including slurs, stereotypes, or derogatory remarks.
- Inappropriate physical contact or threatening behavior.
- Disruptive behavior that interferes with presentations, discussions, or other event activities.
- Unauthorized recording or sharing of personal or sensitive information.
Reporting Incidents
If you witness or experience behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to event organizers immediately. You can report in person to any DNS employee at the event or by contacting the designated contact listed below. All reports will be handled with discretion and care.
Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
Anyone found to be in violation of this Code of Conduct may face consequences, including but not limited to:
- A verbal or written warning.
- Immediate removal from the event without a refund.
- Reporting the incident to local authorities if applicable.
- Prohibition from attending future events organized by Digital Nova Scotia.
